A stately, early 18th century, 2 story colonial reproduction. The original was built in Easton, CT in 1736 and has admirably survived the ravages of time. Today, it stands as a prime example of its period. It features a huge kitchen - dining room and living room as the focal point with wide pine floors and 8" x 8" pine beams. Additionally the kitchen has a bricked area for their old, often used, Queen Atlantic cast iron cook stove. The living room has a large, impressive fireplace.
The laundry room is a 1st floor convenient, essential necessity as well as a separate full bathroom and a family/mud room. Three bedrooms with large dressing room off the master and a large (2 sink) bathroom complete the 2nd floor.
With its large south side window, a studio can be added over the 30 ft. x 60 ft. garage. |
